About Photo Playground
Photo Playground teaches real photography by letting you play with it. Move the sliders and watch a picture brighten, darken, blur and sparkle β exactly the way a real camera would respond.
You will learn the three big settings β ISO (sensitivity), aperture (the size of the hole) and shutter speed (how long the eye stays open) β and then, as your level grows, exposure compensation, focal length, white balance and the rule of thirds.
It is made for children aged 8 and up and for grown-up beginners β anyone who has ever wondered why their photos come out too dark, too blurry or too orange.
- π± Beginner β just the three big sliders and friendly words.
- πΏ Improver β adds zoom, distance, exposure compensation and the composition grid.
- π³ Advanced β white balance, stop-by-stop exposure hints and deeper tips.
No accounts, no adverts, no downloads β just play. The camera model is simplified but honest: everything it shows you is how real cameras genuinely behave.
Photo Playground is a free learning toy from Visual Network, built by a professional photographer who believes the best way to learn a camera is to play with one.
